This course is for those who can spare only one day a week.
Meeting each Sunday from 9.00am to 6.00pm for five weeks, you will transform a green ash log into your own spindle-back chair to take home with you at the end of the course. You will learn cleaving, draw-knifing, steam-bending, and other traditional chairmaking techniques, and finally weaving the seat to your own design.
Course dates: 28 May, 4, 11, 25 June, 9 July
Course fees
£400 inclusive of all chairmaking materials, and lunch, tea and coffee.

£100 payable on booking and balance four weeks prior to the beginning of the course.
